The Introduction to Cosmetic Injectables Course Content

Once you have enrolled in your course and are ready to go, there are two components:

Part 1: Two theory modules to complete, on:

  • Botulinum Toxin

  • Dermal Fillers

These take approximately two full days to complete however we recommend you give yourself as long as you can, to really absorb the material and so you’ll get the most out of the workshop. The learning module takes approximately 2 full-time days to complete, however we recommend you allow at least two weeks before the practical workshop. Many of our students even prefer to take longer, it is entirely up to you to work at your own pace and comfort level. Be mindful of this when enrolling, to give yourself as much time as you need.

Part 2:

This is our practical workshop, where students will be putting their new knowledge and skills into practice on live models (under strict supervision!). Remember though – this is an Introductory course, so we keep it simple. Students will have extensive practice at treating the following areas:

  • Botulinum Toxin for upper face, frown, forehead and periorbital (crows’ feet)

  • Dermal filler for cheeks/midface enhancement

  • Dermal filler for lip & perioral augmentation

Our workshop is run like a busy clinic, with students working just as they would in their own practice. Models will arrive for their appointments at designated times. Under supervision, you will practice consulting with your patients, which includes:

  • taking a comprehensive medical history

  • discussing their aesthetic concerns

  • assessing their need for treatment

  • making a treatment plan for them

  • providing information about their proposed treatment/s, such as discussing risks and possible adverse events

  • signing their (informed) consents with them

  • organising follow up care and appointments.
