Dr Umair Qazi

Dr Qazi is a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) with over 17 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine and more than 8 years of experience in cosmetic medicine.
His areas of practice include emergency medicine, men's health, women's health, alternative pain management, metabolic health and weight management, skin consultations, and non-surgical cosmetic medicine. He provides comprehensive consultations to assess each patient's individual circumstances and discuss appropriate management options.
Dr Qazi performs a range of non-surgical procedures, including Platelet Derived Therapy procedures and sclerotherapy, where clinically appropriate following consultation and assessment. He also has an interest in regenerative and aesthetic medicine.
Dr Qazi provides management plans based on each patient's individual clinical assessment.

At Dr Furella Aesthetics, Nasrin provides nurse-led intravenous therapy consultations under clinical protocols and within her professional scope of practice. Every appointment begins with a comprehensive health assessment to determine whether treatment is appropriate for the individual.

How we practise
Dr Furella Aesthetics is a doctor-run clinic. Cosmetic procedures are medical procedures and we treat them that way. Every patient is assessed individually by a registered practitioner, and a procedure only goes ahead where it is clinically appropriate for that person.
We practise conservatively. Where a procedure is indicated, we use the least invasive option that meets the clinical need, and we will tell you when we think no treatment is the right answer. Ageing and normal variation in the face and body are not conditions that require treatment.
All cosmetic procedures carry risks. Before you decide anything, your practitioner will go through what the procedure can and cannot do, the risks and possible complications, the expected recovery, the cost, and the alternatives, including having no treatment at all. You will be given written information and time to consider it.
