Part 1: Two theory modules to complete, on:
Botulinum Toxin
Dermal Fillers
Part 2:
This is our practical workshop, where students will be putting their new knowledge and skills into practice on live models (under strict supervision!). Remember though – this is an Introductory course, so we keep it simple. Students will have extensive practice at treating the following areas:
Botulinum Toxin for upper face, frown, forehead and periorbital (crows’ feet)
Dermal filler for cheeks/midface enhancement
Dermal filler for lip & perioral augmentation
Our workshop is run like a busy clinic, with students working just as they would in their own practice. Models will arrive for their appointments at designated times. Under supervision, you will practice consulting with your patients, which includes:
taking a comprehensive medical history
discussing their aesthetic concerns
assessing their need for treatment
making a treatment plan for them
providing information about their proposed treatment/s, such as discussing risks and possible adverse events
signing their (informed) consents with them
organising follow up care and appointments.
