Laser, IPL & Light-Based Therapies

A Safe, Effective Treatment for Spider and Varicose Veins

Overview

Light therapy has been used for centuries for both therapeutic and aesthetic purposes, with medical lasers first emerging in the 1960s. Since the 1990s, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) has grown in popularity, and today there is a vast range of light-based devices used across many areas of medicine.
Our Laser, IPL & Light-Based Therapies course covers the science and theory behind modern light-based technologies, along with their applications across aesthetic practice. After completing this course, you will feel confident in understanding and safely operating any light-based device in a clinical aesthetic environment.
As with all Aesthetic Education courses, learning includes an online theory module with a quiz, followed by a practical workshop using live models.
